Payment and Fees
Welcome to my payment and fees page. I strive to provide the highest quality psychiatric care for my patients, and I believe that clear communication and transparency is key to achieving this goal. Please take a moment to review the information provided and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Insurance
As a solo practitioner, there are significant hurdles and challenges when dealing with insurance companies. That's why I have chosen to be an out-of-network provider and not accept insurance. This allows me to focus on providing you with the best care possible, without limitations and restrictions of insurance policies. Contact me to schedule appointment and let's start working towards your well-being.

If you would like to use your insurance to help cover a portion of the expense, I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Contact me through the patient portal to request this.
Payment
To ensure a smooth and efficient payment process, a credit card or HSA/FSA card must be on file before scheduling appointments. Please note that this information is securely stored by my payment processor, and I do not hold this information directly. Your credit card will be charged at the time of the appointment.
Rates and Fees
As of July 2024, the fees for my services are as follows:

Initial consultation (60 minutes)..........................$400
Regular (short) follow-up (<30 minutes).............$200
Intermediate length follow-up (31-45 minutes)...$300
Long follow-up (>46 minutes).............................$400

Administrative work done outside of appointments that requires a significant amount of time (>10 minutes), will be billed at an hourly rate of $400/hr. Examples of this includes but is not limited to: phone calls (to you, providers, friends, family, etc.), responding to emails or direct messages, making photocopies or faxing, document preparation for a third party (attorney, employer, landlord, etc.), and obtaining any prior authorizations for medications or treatment. Time is billed in 10 minute increments and is expected when services are rendered. I will always provide a time estimate and ask for your permission prior to performing any additional services that will generate a bill. You will not be billed for phone calls related to scheduling, billing, or other non-clinical questions.
Cancellation policy
Time is a valuable resource for both patients and physicians. I understand the importance of punctuality and strive to be on time for our appointments. I kindly ask my patients to do the same and arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Please note that if you do not show up or arrive more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, the credit card on file will be charged for the full amount of the missed appointment. If you miss your first appointment, it will not be rescheduled. Failure to show for your follow-up appointments or late cancellations on two or more occasions in a year may result in discharge from the clinic.
I understand that sometimes plans change. That's why I offer a no-charge cancellation policy for appointments cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a charge of 50% the regular rate. You will be given one late cancel pass per year for emergencies or sickness. You must call or message the office the morning of the appointment to have the fee waived. In the event of a cancellation, please notify me as soon as possible so I can accommodate other patients in need of care. Thank you for your cooperation.
